A bit later than previously indicated, but well worth the wait! https://www.purplehousepress.com/products/5-urchin-and-the-rage-tide?variant=44388279943382
Just Updated
Thanks be to the Heart that broke with love for us, and yet still beats.
A Happy Thanksgiving from the Mistmantle Wiki! May the Heart keep you and yours, and may you give thanks this day to the Heart that made you!
So it turns out the Wiki has a Facebook page: Mistmantle Wiki | Facebook
It doesn't seem to have gotten much use or been active in a number of years. Anyone have any idea who created or managed it?
Hey there Tower Squirrels (think that’s a good designation for Mistmantle fans?) With the release of the Purple House Press edition of Urchin of the Riding Stars, a new wiki project has occurred to me. The new editions are coming with new artwork, which is apparently at least part of the reason why the book rereleases are being spaced out rather than done all at once. With that, I think it would be good to set up gallery pages for those articles that warrant them, and try to get good scans of the various pieces of official artwork. I would appreciate any assistance anyone can offer in this regard.
I have a few ideas on some articles. Most of them have to do with stuff not explicitly mentioned in the books, and that's what this wiki revolves around, so I'm conflicted on whether I should write articles on them. Here's what I've been thinking about:
Map of Mistmantle's world. There's really nothing describing individual islands in any of the books, at least from what I remember and have read, but it would be possible to get a rough idea of the world's layout based on travel times and directions. I have a basic map already drawn out from a few years ago, but I could probably improve it, at least enough to write an article on it (describing the process in which distances were calculated, etc).
History of Mistmantle's world. There are some crazy stuff in Mistmantle's history, and I think it'd be really interesting. Most of it would be speculation, since almost all of it is implied or hinted at, and it'd be approaching Game Theory levels of reading-too-deep (90% extrapolation), but some of the stuff that's implied to have happened is really insane. This would be more of a theory page rather than anything else, so that's the main reason for my reluctance to start on a page like this.
Anyone have any thoughts on these?
The Mistmantle Chronicles will return in 2021
So I’m a bit of a Funko Pop fan, and I wouldn’t mind seeing some additions based on The Mistmantle Chronicles. Though it’s unlikely the series will be able to generate interest with the books out of print, I think there’s potential for a few sets.

Decided to spread out the bird characters a bit-I’d imagine that they might be part of the Funko Rides line, or else larger than your typical Pop, and three of those in a single set seems a bit much.
Hey,I was wondering if it would be interesting to have a Norwegian translated side of this wiki. I don`t know how popular the books are in Norway, but I grew up with the stories of Urchin and if you were interested then I could translate the pages into Norwegian.
Of course I need help with how to start and link the Norwegian page to the main English page. And maybe some Norwegian people would want that too.
So if you guys are interested I could start as soon as I find time and as soon as people help me start :)
And if there are other Norwegian people then please help me out.

Have fun!
I just found this character while skimming through Urchin and the Heartstone, when Tay is giving Scatter her rights after Urchin is abducted. As far as I know, this character is never mentioned again in the series. Does anyone have any theories? Here's the quote from Chapter 7: "The king orders that you should be given food, water, and shelter, but kept under guard awaiting His Majesty's decision regarding your case, as under the fourteenth rule of the Circle and Court of King Brooken and the third and fourth orders of the Tower Guard."
I've been doing a little research on the ranges of animals, and natural occurences, and I have concluded that the Mistmantle Chronicles have taken place somewhere around the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia, with the Kamchatka peninsula taking the place of Ashfire island, and Mistmantle within about 500-ish miles off coast of the peninsula.
Hey. I am not a big wikia person, but I like to come on here every now and then to relive old memories. I want to thank those who have fixed this wiki up. I greatly appreciate it, and it helps me to get in a good mood. Thanks again.
